There is truth to this, but there are many exceptions to this as well. Mankind, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Daniel Bryan, miz, Eddie Guerrero, Bret Hart, HBK, to an extent Cena and Punk. Most of those guys and some others didn't "look" like world champions or anything past a mid carder until AFTER they got it.

I think Dolph will be the key to Kofi reaching the top, they both work so well together so make Dolph an established main eventer than have Kofi fued with him and win.

WWE should turn him heel, and start to build him for the main event and let him go for the WWE Championship. He can do it, but actually, he's not built for the main event. 100% WWE fault

Could I see current Kofi getting a major title, not really. I don't think his style in the ring is conducive to a mainevent. However if overtime he worked on a new gimmick and a more mainevent style still using his unbelievable air time, he could fill a few gaps in the mainevent calendar. On the other hand, if each decent midcarder who was vaugly decent were pushed to mainevent level, we would have no midcard. Some.people.should stay in the mid card, I feel Kofi is one of them, there is no shame in it, people like Rick Rude, Mr Perfect, Ricky Steamboat made a career of it and were legends. Kof has the ability to join that list, but maybe not for the next level.

hell no! the guy has won like what? 5 IC belts, 3 tag team belts and nobody gives a crap about this guy. His gimmick sucks, and i cant take him seriously nor see him winning a world belt. He cant even cut a decent promo, i mean miz spoke the truth about him a few weeks back and suddenly people care about him. lol
