Does Kofi Kingston have what it takes to win a World Championship?

Mid card guy for the rest of his career. He will always be a middle of the road babyface, unless they completely overhaul his in ring style, look, entrance music etc.

Never.. many people in the roster deserves it more than kofi..so he should be in the mid card..

I say this with kindness, but how can you say that? Kofi Kingston has worked his butt off for 5 years in the WWE now. I mean seriously this guy has done so much for and in the WWE. Deserve is something people work for, and this guy has worked.

For this forum, he does have the wrestling ability, whether its though high spots or even some technical skills. The only thing Kofi needs is that "it" factor which would be yes better mic skills, a gimmick change (preferably the one he had in 2009), a new look, and a new entrance. I do think he should stay face and this is my reason why, he is so over with the fans, why kill that? Yes it would be shocking and a heel turn could be great for him, but with heels like Wade Barret and Damien Sandow in the mix, it would be hard to compete with them. He should stick with that serious gimmick he had in 2009, and later have one long and amazing title reign as Intercontinental Champion or United States Champion to prove his noteworthiness of being in the main event.

Kofi has had a long list of championships held Four time IC Champion, Two time US Champion, and Three time Tag Team Champion, yet he has never been able to break the proverbial glass ceiling. Do you think the reason Kofi hasn't been able to get to the World title level is because of Kofi or because of WWE's booking?

I think Kofi needs a mean streak added to his gimmick and promos. He is to laid back. Kofi was best on the mic when he was pissed off.

Does he deserve it. Well, every hard worker deserves a chance to shine. Will he get it? No. Why? He doesnt draw. simple as that. He lacks 'IT'

ULITIMATELY, it comes down to "does this guy look like a world champion." John cena, cm punk, dolph Ziggler, and Sheamus all look like world champions. Kofi looks like what he is: a mid card intercontinental champion. He will not go any farther from here. That's why r truth never beat John cena.

In my honest opinion: Daniel Bryan didn't "look" like a world champion. Nor did Eddie Guerrero(I think I spelled right), nor did Chris Benoit, Nor did Rey Mysterio. BUT they were really good world champions despite their size and "look". I think Kofi can in fact be a world champ one day. Sure he doesn't have the "look" but why not make him champ? One thing he has to do is channel that attitude he had during his short fued wit Randy Orton. What u think alcrissam?

Does he have what it takes? Possibly not.

Will he win it? Its not impossible. The World title isn't as big as the WWE title, and look at Swagger, Khali and a couple of others who have held it, they didn't deserve it at the time yet they were given the belt, so its not impossible he could be given it even if it is a brief run.
