Hahaha thanks for the vote of confidence guys, the decision was made and Benny was chosen as the better man. I'm glad many liked our work. It has been a long time since I wrote a Slayde promo and am glad it went over well alongside Benny's work. There's always the next Grand Prix and I still got a few characters left I can enter with, so you'll see me again.

It sucks to lose, but since you all felt that Hawk was better, could I get some advice. Tell me what I could do to improve or what would have helped me to win, or what I could have done better.

Well from a spectator's perspective I'd say it's hard to take Dixon seriously at times, with the way he speaks. It seems ignorant at times with the constant misspelling and whatnot. It'd be great to be that way if he were more of a comedic character from what I take it you want Dixon to be taken seriously and the way he's portrayed doesn't help towards that goal.

The addressing that he was a fluke champion in IWA also made him look weak vs Hawk who's on top of his game being champion himself; not that being a champion should ever affect your stance in the tournament, being that it's based off the promo given but I can certainly imagine it does help a bit.

That's about what I can see that made him lose in this tourney. Just giving out my point of view, not too sure what others think.

I have to agree with what SEZ has suggested and personally speaking my round 1 opponont in Sagittarius Blue was nearly my last.

Scribbler brought his A game in that promo and I felt I did to and I was expecting to leave though Magglis stuck with me and I came through.

I say this because in Sagittarius was very unlucky to lose in round one and I feel he should have been top 4 though they are the breaks in an elimination the top 4 do not get it, its the 4 that win there matches.

Keep your chin up man your promo in its essence was great to read, unfortunately for you Hawks was just that little bit better and in this competition misspelling and grammar can be the difference betweening winning the whole thing and losing in the first round

This is just my opinion, but if Dixon spoke more normally with occasionally throwing in the hood words or whatever you want to describe them as, he would come off better, compared to now where it feels like every other word is a hood word.

Did you find the results fair? I do. The thing with this tournament, I feel like you have yourself a bunch of really good efedders, so unless someone completely slacks off, it will always be a close call, and it will just come down to perspective as to who should win and who shouldn't.
