As I said before what really gets me is how it can really effect people's lives. Some people sell all of their belongings and even homes. Some people kill themselves, some kill others. It's the aftermath for these people that really makes me hate these things.
While the bleeding heart in me goes out to these people who have been taken in by the grifters behind the news desk, the realist in me also tends to side with the natural selection theory on this. Trust me, I have that naive grandmother in my family that buys just about any form of glacier insurance sold to her so I do have the soft spot there... But there comes a time where nature just has to take its course. Yes, I know that makes me cold blooded to a sort, but I believe in helping those who are truly trying to better themselves; not those who want others to do for them. I am sure that is a bit off from the isolated incident that we are talking to but I just can't kick the idea that people should learn to not touch a hot stove when you get the bandages off from your previous 3rd degree burn.
