when I took cwp (current world problems) in high school we would watch conspiracy theories on 9/11 and then watch some guys bash how wrong those theories truly were... good stuff

What I have to say about 9/11 is:
You can rather believe that the Government staged it to kill 1000's of its own people to get others to go and fight for oil.
OR
You can believe a man, in a cave, across the sea fooled the most powerful country in the world by choosing the ONE day the airports system were shut down(for God knows what reason).

The ONLY question that should be asked is, What do you WANT to believe?

american airport security before 9/11 wasn't that great. and it's not like these guys were some slouches who were so poor they lived in cages. ksm and obl are two of the most powerful forces of terror ever, with major sources of income coming in from oil not even taking into consideration how much money obl has just because who he is. in america we have two parties... the dems usually are against war, and for alt fuel... don't you think we had better ways to get oil than to kill our citizens?

Yeah, "man in a cave" isn't at all completely reductive. It's not like the guy and a significant portion of his NETWORK had security training from the CIA or anything, right?

The only reason they were shut down was because of the fucking planes flying into shit! I don't get how you missed that connection?

nurture IMO. if you train a little kid to be racist he will be racist, if you teach them tolerance they will be tolerance. obviously some people will beat the rules... but nature is a secondary importance in this case at least that's my opinion.
