Dumb response. The wrestler has to be over enough to convince the booker or creative to keep the belt on him. A very difficult thing to do in the modern era of flavor of the month fans and the IWC breaking kayfabe for new fans. To be relevant enough to be champion for over a year is something legends like SCSA, rock and ut failed to do because building a story around a guy for that long takes a guy good enough to sell the story to the public.

but it's the fact the company is still trying to find a new face of the WWE and since punk holds the title and until that happens aka cena done the same thing.... Held the title until the wwe found a new face aka punk

this means once the new face is revealed, then punk will lose the title...
