Man..okay I respect your opinion, but in my books Slick Ric is one of the best ever. You talk about Hogan and the Warrior, but I'm talking Flair in his prime. You know how long did it take Luger, Garvin, Steamboat or Sting to get the belt off Flair. I know when it did, it was HUGE news that made the main stream media and sold out gigantic stadiums. Not bad for a guy whose best move is a chest chop and a whoooooo. Or how during a promo he could get the entire crowd into it and say whoooooo when he did, with a massive horsemen following that would dress up in suits and sit in the crowd. "Space Mountain" "The Limo Riding Jet Flying...." "To Be the Man, You got to Beat the Man" Tons more....So I don't understand how anyone can say his promos were weak and only said "whoooo?" They're legendary.

Yes, i know all that, and to be hones, i never understood it. What people thought were special about a man that even in his prime looked like a chubby version of my grandfather and acted like a pimp, i never got. I sat in front of the TV and thought 'oh my god, this guy is not only terrible, but he is gross and disgusting.' But thats personal taste. Yes, i know about his legendary title reign, and what it took to get the title off him. And i also didnt understand WHY it took so long. But again, that is mainly personal taste. Whenever i say things like that i dont call it a fact, it is always my oppinion. And Yes, with Punk i get the same 'but WHY?' feeling i got with Flair back then. So...he is the best in the world...and...why?

Yes, i know all that, and to be hones, i never understood it. Sid Vicious, Yokozuna, Kane, Vader, the Undertaker in his Ministry time or the time when he started (funny enough he became champion cause of Flair back then, i HATED that cause i didnt feel it necessary). Yes, it seems i prefer the non talking Heels, the ones who had Managers to talk for them (even tho Taker talked quite a lot in his Ministry time). I totally agree the need for the talkative weasely cheating type of Heel, i just dont like them as champion, since i mainly see them as tools. In a good way.

Oh, and i started watching Wrestling 1990, that was about the time Cable Tv was introduced in Germany, and the first time you could actually see it here.

Fair enough. It's a matter of taste. I've always preferred the weasely heel champs, but that's not a knock on the monster heel champs. I enjoyed them too. Just for me Ric was the best heel champ of all time and before him I thought Ray The Crippler Stevens was in the territory days and he happened to make the main stream media and preformed a lot where I am from.

And right now, I'm loving CM Punk's reign. It brings back the old big fight feeling of the possibility of him losing the belt or somehow getting over again on the challenger. That to me hasn't been around in a long time, this big, since about the time Shane Douglas was ECW champion.

Yeah I've been watching since a kid in the 70's. The 90's doesn't do Ric justice. He was in WCW jobbing for Savage and Hogan because nobody else would. And those two didn't want to job ever.

The 80's were Ric's bread and butter era. He and Hogan neck and neck.

Yeah, you see, i like that feeling too that only a true heel champ can bring, it puts you on your seat, and you wonder 'Will it happen today'. The problem is that i find it harder to believe with a champ that looks 'weak'. Especially in this time where titles change like AJ Lees boyfriends, and when in doubt put it back on Cena. But maybe thats cause we lack in believable Heels. I remember the time when Orton went 'nuts' and did all the Punting to the Head to the McMahons and everyone around. They could have made him an unbelievable Heel champion back then, but then again dropped that ball. He looked insanely strong and believable.
