Yeah I've been watching since a kid in the 70's. The 90's doesn't do Ric justice. He was in WCW jobbing for Savage and Hogan because nobody else would. And those two didn't want to job ever.
The 80's were Ric's bread and butter era. He and Hogan neck and neck.
Yeah, you really want to watch Flair's matches with Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk & Roddy Piper to fairly be able to gauge how good Flair really was. And Ric Flair had one other big, important talent - the ability to sell and make his opponents look good while getting himself over at the same time. Flair was unparalleled in this respect.
