Honestly guys. It doesn't matter if he cashes before. Either way, either the briefcase or the title are hanging during their match. Whichever Cena grabs, he eventually or immediately becomes WHC champion. The implications of this match are MASSIVE. If Cena wins, its practically a guaranteed title unification match vs Rock at Mania.

It also means, Zigglers momentum is crushed yet again. The outcome of this match could determine if Ziggs becomes the next HBK or the next Roddy Piper. If he leaves TLC with the briefcase, he might just walk into Mania the WHC Champion. If he leaves empty-handed, he'll be lost in no mans land, no where near either title (cause Rock and Cena are occupying both), and he'll probably end up in an effing tag match at Mania. I could go on for an hour about how much I despise the briefcase being on the line here.

It would make a lot of sense to do this. I mean, WWE aren't seriously going to have Ryback and Team Hell No vs The Shield as their main event are they. That would be a pretty weak main event at this point, despite all talent involved being pretty relevant.

This scenario would serve a few purposes;

1) Get the WHC off Big Show
2) Get Ziggler into that main event spot
3) Sort out a booking headache with Punk out injured
4) Ziggler and Cena have had decent matches in the past if I recall, so it would serve up a decent main event, especially if the stipulation of a ladder match stands.

As long as Cena doesn't exit the ppv as champ, then we're good. But the chances of that happening are slim I'd say given that Cena will likely be involved on Raw with the Rock/Punk feud.

Agreed. I mean if they don't consider Team Punk vs Team Foley to be a good enough main event for a PPV, how would Ryback/Hell No vs The Shield be one?

ha ha! I hadnt thought about the possibility of Ziggler cashing in prior to the TLC PPV. That would be gold! But now that Punk's already off the card, this would ruin another of their buy rate matches.

Yeah that's the thing, it's almost set up as if Ziggler can't lose here, which could be 'too obvious' if there is such a thing.
They've been talking about unifying the titles for a while, best part of 2 years as far as I can remember, but they've never followed through with it.
IMO, Cena's going to be in and around the WWE title picture between now and Wrestlemania, no doubt. So if he wins the WHC here, then that could be WWE leaning towards a title unification match between him and The Rock at Wrestlemania?
But I'm not sure if it's in WWE's best interest to unify the titles to be honest. I know the WHC is wrongfully not held on par with the WWE title, but it still serves a purpose for me.

What I would like to see and would honestly be ok with, Punk losing the WWE championship to Rock at the Rumble. Cena winning the World title at the rumble, and then Punk goes on to win the Rumble later in the night. Sets up a triple threat match with the titles being unified by the winner.

The problem for Ziggler, Vince and HHH dont see him as a face of the company type. I dont think he's pissed anyone off (like Kennedy when he had to drop his MITB to Edge)... but I kind of got the feeling Ziggler wouldnt win, especially after Big Show became the champ.

You say most of this and the bolded cause you aren't as big of a WWE fan as some are, imo, and you think Ziggler is over hyped. But the fact is, if the Great Khali can be World Champ....then there are alot of people on the roster who are more deserving
