Exactly... My brother is a huge fan of metal, and he says all the concerts that he goes to are insane when it comes to fighting. That just doesn't sound appealing to me. I listen to music for the art, not to be defined and typecasted as someone who wants to go fight because heavy music is on. That just seems silly. I'm not saying most or even many metal fans are like that... though, some fans make it seem like it is.

Dave Grohl's new documentary, Sound City, is all types of incredible. Total love letter to everything great about rock.

Oh nice! I figured it would be awesome. The Q&A that I read this morning was kind of a promotion for that, Where did you watch it at? Did you buy a dvd or something?

Am a metal fan myself and was talking to my friend after the Metallica concert and he said 8 people were escorted out for fighting and i am like.."why ruin your night?"

It's just a minority of metal fans ruining it for the majority. Fighting might be one of the silliest things that we as humans feel the constant need to do lol. Just in curiosity what type of metal do you like? It's a huge genre anymore... I love drums, so I like Tool for that reason.... I think metallica is above average... similar thoughts with newer bands like mudvayne...

Yea, I think sometimes it's because you don't think it's great to begin with... and they are popular so they get overplayed... which leads to HATE!!!!!!! lol.

Is it your brother or something lol!? My brother did that with slipknot!!!!!!!!!! Oh man, I hate that band. He hates the song everlong because of me... so we can call it even .
