I dont get this, why are there soo many wwe shows?

RAW is now a 3 hour show able to fit EVERYBODY on it. SMACKDOWN is still on Friday nights featuring ONLY SMACKDOWN people with occasional appearances from RAW people(except WWE champ, the most important wrestler in the company). The World Heavyweight champ gets the privilege of being on both shows and the WWE champ only appears on RAW (I don't like that). There is no point anymore of having these 2 different shows and 2 heavyweight champions and 2 mid card champions if they're all just going to be on the same Monday Night show EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

As Bodom stated WWE likes making $$$ which Smackdown makes. Therefore it will be around until such time as it cost more to make and produce than what it makes them.

Besides that, Smackdown is still needed as much of the newcomers start there, they have a better chance of getting recognized on Smackdown than they ever would if they were limited strictly to RAW

This, which is why WWE continues to expand. If they see a viable money making venture, they'll do it. Smackdown? Makes money. The new Main Event show coming to Ion next month? Money. WWE Network? Potentially, money.

At this point I think they should just fully embrace SmackDown as the lesser show. Get rid of the World Heavyweight Title and let the Intercontinental Champion be the top guy. Move all the "important people" who show up on RAW anyway over to the RAW brand officially like Bryan, Sheamus, Del Rio, Ryback, and Big Show. Move the midcarders like the Colons, Santino and Ryder over to SD. Orton can stay on SD until he's out of the dog house and help put over the midcarders to the point where fans will want to see them.

If you move all of the top guys over to Raw then most of the fans will stop watching. 90% of those children are only there to see Cena and Orton.

Might actually be a good thing. So they can stop pandering to the ADHD kids who need to be reminded of what happened last week, every five minutes. Bring the tag division and the divas over (lose that butterfly belt during the trip) and that show would be awesome.

That's a mindset that's going to have to change some time. WWE has to focus on getting their other wrestlers over. But I think guys like Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, and Alex Riley are over enough that they would suffice as possible heroes for the kids on SD. The Miz, the current Intercontinental Champion has an appeal to both nostalgic adults who remember him from The Real World, and the kids, even while playing a heel character. Ideally Miz would appear on both shows while he's the IC Champ. The IC Champ would be the top dog on SD, but a midcarder on RAW, and would go back to being exclusive to their main brand after dropping the belt. Also, Randy Orton would stay on SmackDown and help draw eyes towards these other guys, at least until he regains the trust of the office.

Well, I think, generally the newer things are often the ones to go. Well, at least, in most jobs anyway when they need to cut something. New people get axed first from what I remember.

SD isn't going to go anywhere, since it's a staple now and brings WWE enough money for it to be profitable, and it's still around 1.6-2.0 in ratings more or less.
