That is the reason why I started disliking him...He was pushed to main event way too soon than he deserved...they should have used him in Midcard scenario...Rey is a different being..he spent years in lower midcard, midcard and finally the WHC is a reward for his years of service and also to cash in Eddie's Death...

Some of the greatest of all time had to do their time in the midcard. And they became better for it, in my opinion this is a big reason why its not as good as it once was, midcard is the perfect time for guys to perfect their mic skills, ring work, ect before moving on to the main event.

Absolutely!! Also, the second world championship is doing no good either.....it is actually killing midcard altogether...now a midcard title has no significance at all....

I actually loved Del Rio's feud with Mysterio in Smackdown, and think they could have done more with that.

Of course, tbf I am a fan of Dos Caras Jr, and I think that in large part, his failure to get over rests with that stupid fucking gimmick. It just doesn't fit his natural attitude, it's like Trip trying to get over in WCW as a french guy, or The Rock trying to get over as a straight-laced babyface.

I'd rather watch Del Rio than a lot of others. I don't mind his in ring, but it is rather slow paced when he wrestles. His promos are okay, he's got the mic confidence, but i think he needs work on capturing an audience, which is why Ricardo is there - he adds character to ADRs gimmick. Like Vickie with Dolph, until recently. I would much rather watch Del Rio than Big show. The big show has had two good matches with sheamus this year, but before that, has done nothing memorable. I suppose throwing cena through a spotlight is the only thing i can really think of.

Everyone has an opinion and a certain taste when it comes to what entertains you personally and what does not. I respect everyone's opinion, as long as it's educated in the matter.

With that said IMO, I always liked Del Rio. People can say he's a JBL and Ted Sr rip off, but hell everything in wrestling was ripped off from somewhere else. Like I've said before, "wrestling IS copyright infringement." So we are not liking Del Rio strictly cause his character is likened to one from the past, it'd be hard to like any wrestler.

You say his promos are boring, okay. I like his promos. It's heelish, sinister and totally arrogant.

His in ring skills aren't that great? I'd disagree with that. His matches are usually the best match on either Smackdown or Raw. Orton Del Rio matches on smackdown and this past Monday against Botch Cara, all very good matches. Shit even Cara had a good match and credit that to Del Rio knowing how to work with a luchador, and every other style for that matter.

People who I can't stand and think absolutely suck IMO and taste is wrestlers like Santino and Zack Ryder. Those are my piss break talent. But they are popular for some other fans, so I know they have their fan base and purpose, so I accept it.

One thing I've learned about the industry, is what I feel is entertaining does not necessarily speak for the masses, so never confuse your personal preference to actual marketability and ticket sales because 9 times out of 10 your opinion doesn't matter to the promotion at large. There's a reason why a wrestler is where he is at and he wouldn't be in the big leagues if really sucked that bad.

i agree i think del rio is a poor version of jbl. other more talented wrestlers like tyson kid should get his spot and with the economy the way it is they should make him rub his welath over the wwe universe because he gets little to no reaction
