In essence, your comparison of Brad Maddox to the dark matter that was thought to be a part of the big bang is acute and precise. The conceptual thought of Brad Maddox is what caused the outward thrust of the big bang, thus resulting in the creation of our universe.
By what you have said BMac, you are 100% accurate in stating that Brad Maddox is our whole universe.

However, Maddox is a humble enough being to allow us to think that he would have the ability to get one over on him as a way for those pagans to not build golden statues of him and worship him out rightly. Maddox knows that this would create massive turmoil amongst the religious communities and result in a war that he would ultimately have to stop by appearing on the front lines and giving a speech followed by his illuminating smile. Brad is about bringing man together and chooses to distance himself from anything that could prevent our inevitable enlightenment with him in our lives...
However, you are correct. Maddox is the one who saved us from our demise when the Mayans set out to destroy our world in 2012. If not for him and his efforts to collectively bring humans to a higher level of existence, we would have fallen prey to the Mayans evil desires to rid this world of our corrupting tendencies.
