This is most likely. The Fandangoo gimmick was started almost two months back on house shows. I believe it started when WWE was overseas in England. WWE sometimes uses guys who are about to debut new gimmicks on house shows first. I know they did this with Ryback actually before he debuted on TV.

Bateman and Curtis did indeed have good chemistry together. They're best friends in real life and when they teamed on NXT 2(?) they showed to be good working together.

However, I like the idea of Bateman coming in with his 'USA Man' gimmick that he's been promoting on his own (although WWE have also promoted those videos too).
I liked the team of McGulicutty and Curtis though. They had some chemistry together too.
Pairing Curtis with A-Ry wouldn't be a complete bad idea either. Although A-Ry and Swagger is what I'd like to see.
