that is what cm punk wore during his commercial for the wwe 13 game - looks like the stuff the sheild wears. could this be the clue people over looked? - is it a clue or is it just pure luck that this happened and nothing will come of it?

No it's not a clue that we overlooked, WWE aren't that clever, and they probably didn't even know that The Shield was going to debut several months later when they did the WWE 13 commercials.

just like how the wm28 main event was made one year before it happened. - i bet they had it planed out - just like they planned rock vs champ at royal rumble and had punk promo on raw 1000 - like 6-7 months before the match. wwe has been doing some long term planning - i would not be suprised if this was one of them

Of course The Rock vs Cena was planned for Wrestlemania, and of course The Rock getting a WWE title shot is planned because they announced both live on Raw lol! hey didn't announce a few months back that The Shield would debut did they?

WWE change plans on a weekly and even day to day basis. When they were filming WWE 13 commercials, I bet my house that they didn't slap that bullet proof vest on Punk because they had plans for The Shield. Like I said, I doubt they were even aware at the time that they'd be calling up Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns in a few months time.

Thank you. I just dont get it - Survivor series is the ppv the game comes out and the sheild debut that ppv. same kind of clothing as cm punk in the trailer for the game. it's based around the game and if i was a betting man, i would bet austin vs punk at wm29 is a shoe in. - they promoted it in wwe 13 just like they did with rock vs cena on wwe12.

Yes, the WWE has been doing long term planning, but considering the factor that at the time of the WWE 13 commercial, Ambrose wasn't even being used on NXT, Seth Rollins was becoming a big thing in NXT, and I'm not sure on Roman, I can't see this being all part of a long term plan Sorry

I will not say that there is no chance that these guys are not involved with punk but basing that idea on the outfits they are wearing is stupid. WWE is known for changing this on a daily basis and i highly doubt that they were thinking about the outfits. Another possibility is that these guys are working for Heyman and not Punk
