That has to be the weakest attempt at backwards qualification I've seen in some time. Besides which it makes ZERO sense. So, you're trying to suggest "crazy chick" is some sort of subtitle she's using now? That it has NOTHING to do with her acting in ways that are contradictory and make little to no sense for the past year - that's all a coincidence to the fact that she's been referred to as a "crazy chick"? Robstar - Killing threads with logic... I think it's one of the main reasons we get along so well. We both understand that logic is something that doesn't change just because it fits my need in this one moment, but doesn't apply to another. Example being that someone saying they "dig crazy chicks" IS applicable to a real life scenario since we all know they aren't dating on-screen personalities some chick is portraying. Thus, if they did date a "crazy chick" then it was simply one who told them they needed to be back home by 11pm (crazy chicks be trying to put a leash on a mutha phawker) and not that they truly have a clue what crazy chicks are like. Sure you can have the "Wild Things" aspect with Denise Richards, or many other female vixens to play a demented, sex-craved female (Black Snake Moan) but the fact of the matter is that we live in a reality that cannot, nor will ever live up to the appeal that a television show and/or movie makes a dark life out to be one of glamour...


In the real world, I had a thing for this "crazy chick" at one point and it costs me $700 a month for being with her for 3 months, 10 years ago. Or this other "crazy chick" who I managed to burn a few scars in my arms to prove loyalty to her while she burned multiple sections of herself once I refused to carry on with her nonsense in my life. Not all "crazy chicks" are this wild in bed, porno star type aspect that so many men make them out to be (thanks to pictures in motion); rather they are the kind who once you have a soft spot for them, they will arm themselves with knives in an attempt to show you that they will not live without you. Imagine the fact that the final reason that pushed a chick to suicide is because you failed to love them the way they claimed to love you. The point is this idea of “crazy chicks” being something appealing is setting up a lot of younger males to suffer through a lot of unnecessary self punishment and the idea of someone “claiming” on the internet that these are the kinds of girls they are attracted to shows immaturity in judgment of characters. I used to enjoy dating women who lived their life independent of popular thinking, but the ones that were “crazy chicks” were the ones that I (and all men who enjoy happiness in their life) veered 180 from and RAN.

I actually hadn't stopped to think about why this 'crazy chick' thing might have been appealing to some of these fellas but yeah, you're right - they totally think it's a sex thing, don't they? So many girls tried "saving" me or "changing" me from my "bad ways" in my life - these girls are what is known as a classic 'rescuer'. And even if you did succeed, what then? The whole basis of attraction is gone.

I can't tell you how many times I have been viewed as the person who needed to be "saved"; the best part is the person trying to save me was usually more twisted in the head than I was. People are so funny in that they can't save themselves so they feel the need to minimize their own faults by taking on your burdens as their own. Funny is life and the way we perceive it...

But to the point – Everyone sees a film and draws associations of people in line with the characters in said media. For every healthy relationship, it seems there are 2k other “Crazy/Beautiful” cases in which someone is trying to show another that life isn’t as bad as you’re making it; or worse, that life is more dreary than the happy bubble you live in. To the fact that people link the idea of mentally unstable to “sexually promiscuous” is quite disturbing. If this were true, everyone should be dating someone with mental retardation because they aren’t “all there” which is the same conclusion as what a crazy person is, correct? I guess it’s only true if the crazy chick fits that “fuckable” mold that all men have and not the idea that the crazy is the appealing part.

A parasite is a parasite regardless if it helps the host to battle carcinogens or if it drains all nutrition from their body (haven’t we learned this from Futurama?) but the result is that the idea of “fixing” or “saving” or “opening their eyes” or whatever you want to call it... The result is that you are admitting that said person has such major fault that they need to be cured of in life. I can understand someone taking in a stray puppy that looks malnourished but if you get worms, fleas, or rabies you don’t magically “save” that puppy by long talks; you take them to a specialist/veterinarian to cure them. Apparently by the judgments of many young adults, they tend to think of themselves as miracle workers in the aspect of “helping” the section of mankind that makes their pants seem tighter.
