Unhappy Chavo Guerrero- What went wrong?! D:

After Eddie passed I was hoping that the WWE would pick Chavo up an continue on his uncles legacy in the lie, cheatin', and stealin' department but instead he went on to sink through the cracks. He was placed into some of the most embarrassing storylines, and then was rarely seen after that. Is it too late for Chavo?

I guess in WWE's mind Chavo is not as entertaining as Eddie. Chavo is just a jobbing wrestler to them but that is what I think.
A Block: Alex Shelly, Trent Barreta, Takahashi Hiromu, Jushin Thunder Liger, Prince Devitt, Ricochet, Rocky Romero, Taichi, Titán
B Block: Alex Kozlov, Brian Kendrick, Bushi, Jado, Kenny Omega, KUSHIDA, Taguchi Ryusuke, TAKA Michinoku, Tiger Mask IV

Again we see WWE fumble the ball on a huge talent like Chavo. But I suppose he doesn't quite have the aura of his uncle, doesn't have a gimmick like Rey (I mean, Mask vs Poncho - you be the judge). I mention Rey to point out that they DO sometimes push smaller guys, but I'm convinced they only push Rey because he was big in WCW and ECW. Oh and he sells tshirts and action figures too.

Hopefully Chavo will get a gig on NXT as a pro and then we can see some sort of Mexican alliance forming. Can you imagine - Chavo, Rey, Hunico, Epico and even Primo (I don't want Tito Colon to lose the mask so maybe repackage Primo, instead of this second rate Carlito clone he is now)

What happened with Chavo? Easy: they decided that Rey Mysterios mask had more merchandise potential so gave him the push Chavo should have had after Eddies death.

Sad to say, but I think Chavo should move on to TNA- they may actually use him correctly there

Nope. TNA's bookers and storyline creators are even a bigger joke than WWE's.

I agree with that to a point, but at times they seem to be doing some things better....not much though. I do not think they would make a joke of of Chavo though.

TNA has too many WWE-castoffs now though.

An Chavo would never turn his back on Vickie who is known for hating TNA.

The only thing that could really be hoped for is that Chavo gets a crazy straigfht forward no BS storyline or isn't used again until' he retires to save him from further embarrassment. ;D

It's not too late for him yet. Chavo is the right side of 40, so he still has a good 5 years left in the tank IMO. I've played with the idea of a latin American alliance. They have enough talent from the region with Chavo, Rey, Primo, Del Rio, Hunico and Epico.

I'm also going to pitch the idea of turning Chavo face, and teaming him with Rey Mysterio, for them to have a run in the tag division. Everyone is tired of seeing Rey with this 'ultimate underdog' stuff, and a face turn for Chavo would freshen him up. Both have experience in the tag division, and WWE would be adding a talented and experienced team to their depleted tag division. It would be a step in the right direction in re-building the tag division.

Chavo has the talent, but not quite the charisma. Chavo had opportunities to shine but he doesn't quite have that, oh God, "X-factor" to make it to the top. Not even when he was in WCW.

That said, I would rather have him as a champ than someone forced down my throat.
