To be fair, I think jelly was just pointing out the fact I shouldn't listen to the haters on this site of me... which weirdly enough, is quite a few... even though I never really cause drama, or at least try to. I think most members at least understand that. But I mean, look at the new years resolution thread, and at least one member said, be a dick to Dennis until he leaves eWN haha.

You really need to develop a thicker skin if you want to continue to participate in online chat situations. See, now I know your initial response to this would be "nah, it doesn't bother me" but it clearly bothers you enough to bring up in another thread, which points out that it's weighing on your mind. If you're going to carry that stuff around the boards mate.....you're going to have a baaaaad time. What's worse is it makes you a ticking time bomb, ready to go off by throwing all these outdated examples around and - doing something you have become a bit famous for around here - reopening old and healing wounds, simply for your own peace of mind on the matter. Which is why you encounter the snarky attitude from users, just in case you were wondering.
To suggest that this site is full of "haters" is erroneous and lazy. It would be far more accurate to say that, yes while there are some genuine haters among us - like all walks of life, only we don't talk to them at such length to find out - there are many more people here who possess a "shoot from the hip" style of posting that, while not always easy to read, is every bit OK within the rules and guidelines. I will go as far as to state that in my belief, most butthurt and offense is down to the persons who are butthurt and offended. You have every right to come here as you do to not come here. So, in essence, members are entering into an unspoken contract to "harden the fuck up" by participating on these boards. I'm sure there are plenty of other, more conservative wrestling sites out there a person could be on.
So, basically - certain people who are making suggestions to you about "haters" and such, should look into the fact that not very long ago they themselves were railing hard against being labelled as a hoodie wearing rapist of a coloured persuasion. Or do labels only work when they suit the individual?
