So it appears that Charlie Haas has gotten himself fired and then retired after punching Grizzly Redwood!

What a dick and it couldn't have happened to a better Haashole!

Haas was reportedly drunk
Was crying
Took shots at Kelly and Delirious
Tried to implement WWE's ways in ROH(Pecking order vs Everyone motivating/helping everyone)

I'm not so sure if he'd be on WWE's radar after this as it's reported that he was intoxicated (and preformed in a ROH ring intoxicated mind you) when the incident occurred.

I think Cabers was talking about how it came about. From reports (remember, these are dirt sheets so take it for what it's worth) Haas has been bullying talent in the ROH locker room (especially Grizzly for his size) for a stretch of time. ROH officials say it's due to Haas just operating the way things operated in WWE during his tenure there, but if this is truly the case, Haas is indeed an asshole for picking on Grizzly for his size (read Grizzly Redwoods back-story to find out why it's such a dick move) and the fact that he punched him backstage due to Grizzly standing up for himself is pretty low class.


This is all going off reports and only Haas, Grizz, Delirious, and Kevin Kelly know exactly what happened.

It no secret WWE would like to bring Shelton Benjamin back or so it was a few months ago... I only think Shelton would want Haas to be brought back as well... WWE can offer Haas a chance to go rehab and more then TNA..... Only thing TNA got is Kurt Angle lobbying for him to get hired..

I had just gotten time to look into this whole thing... I remember seeing the episode where Grizzly was wrestling Haas, but something seemed a bit off. While I liked Haas' heel character, this sounds quite troubling... and not good for Haas' career at all if he tries to pursue another company. Still looking for more info, but as Gavin said, only the people involved will know the truth.

BTW, what is Grizzly's backstory? I'm a bit ignorant to it...

I doubt Shelton only wants to go back if Haas does. He'll likely go back if offered a contract with them, whether or not Haas goes with.
