John Cena and CM Punk Vs Rock and Austin?

I know a lot of people want to see CM Punk Vs Austin by itself. But I'm not sure if Austin can really work a full match by himself. So I had a idea for WM 30. Have CM Punk team up with John Cena Vs The Rock and Austin. It would be a clash of this era and the PG era. It would permit Austin not to have to work to hard in the match. The Rock and Austin would work together at Wrestlemania. Cena could also be in the ring with Austin as well. It could be really good if built probably.

Thoughts on this match?

I think you would have to have the shield attack punk soon if you were going to do this to give this match a proper build up... You can't have a true heel teaming up with arguably one of the biggest faces of the past 20 years... it might just seem to weird... I might just be missing something.

I said it was an idea for WM 30

Of course it's possible in the WWE, as the storylines are made that way already. Some faces are teaming or celebrating with the ones who destroyed them months ago. This is not a problem for the Creative Team, nor this is a problem for the WWE Universe (for me, it is !)

Although I think that this is one of those 'dream matches' that would be epic, it's not really an idea I'm keen on seeing. I want to see John Cena vs The Rock (has happened once, and will possible happen again), and Punk vs Austin. Those are the matches I'd like to see.

I 100% agree with this, although, the question is will Austin actually commit to doing a program with Punk, yes he has expressed interest in it, he said if he were to come back for one match it would be against Punk, and he hasn't completely shot down the idea, but he has always been very cryptic when talking about the possibility of facing Punk. He has always said it could happen, but he has never said he's actually down for doing it. We know he's recovering from a recent knee surgery to correct problems from his past injuries this year, but who's to say he won't conveniently have a surgery or a movie every year preventing this match from ever taking place. Maybe he's not confident he can perform at a level to leave a new great moment in history. What if the only way he'll do it is if he can be confident he can at least come close to or top the last match he had with the Rock at WM 19?

teh biggest flaw i could see in this, other than it being just a wrestling geeks wet dream and the WWE will think it's a bad idea. is they would HAVE to turn Cena heel... there is NO way you're going to dim rock AND austin, you may be able to get Rock heelish, but at this point Austin could come back and slap every third person in the arena and their mom's, shit on the american flag, and kill Bambi with mickey mouse's skull and fans would STILL cheer him. Honestly we've seen Cena /Rock ( and in my opinion it was the worst match of the night) if you were going this route and MUCH more entertaining match would be Orton/Punk vs Rock/ Austin... if you wnated to keep Cena in it, Do Cena/ Austin vs Punk/ Rock ( shame they aren't truly contemporaries a tag team of Punk Rock would be cool just for the name).
