I enjoy Punk's promo on this week raw,as Daniel Bryan in my opinion he doesn't need to prove himself anymore,he was the original best in the world and he already put on classic matches in ROH,Noah,NJPW,PWG etc etc...new fans can checkout those matches at youtube if they're curious and wonder why Punk mention his name.Right now Bryan can wrestle 'light' ,get technical matches on special occasion and receive good payment.

How long is it going to take people to realize that WWE isn't about how guys perform in the ring. If you're a great wrestler with less than average charisma, you're going to be a jobber to carry the greatly charismatic guys that sell out shows, sell PPVs & merch to make them look good in the ring. Thats why these guys are brought into the company and I'm sure they know that or else guys like Tyson Kidd would've asked for his release a long time ago so he could go to a promotion that pushes guys like him like RoH or TNA. Of course WWE have guys that can wrestle good or great matches in the midcard and main event but they are also charismatic and have one way or another gotten reaction from the fans. Get over it...

Sometimes I think CM Punk is nothing more than a concern troll.

A concern troll is someone from one side of the arguement who acts like they support the other side. Often seen on forums like this. Punk is just another one of the top guys - the ones who always get a push or lots of airtime, but pretends to be on the side of those that don't. In doing this, he always has the support of the IWC, but due to being a top guy, still gets the support of the mainstream audience. It's a win-win situation for him.

Politicians do this shit all the time in speeches and campaigns. How much they support the common man and how the lower class deserves a chance, but of course, once they obtain power, nothing ever comes of it. The IWC was the voters. We gave CM Punk power. And guess what? Nothing has ever changed. A front-runner candidate becomes just another congressman. A pushed mid-carder becomes just another main-eventer.

Punk was simply allowed to use examples of the frustrating truth in his worked shoot. WWE doesn't care if he says it because WWE doesn't care that they do it. They know that WE know it. It would be awesome if Punk's words could lead to a 'revolution' of sorts but it never does, never will. Because it's all by design.

Honestly, I am impressed that this promo got so much buzz behind it simply because Punk name dropped. He did the same thing with the chart when he moved past Cena's reign (dropping the Hogan/Bruno) only he said more about it this time. As for dropping the Bryan/Kidd comment, he didn't say anything that made you think "can he really say that?!" You are right with the design part; it is just amusing when people make these promos out to be "game changers". It says a lot for how well Punk is at delivering a promo and making it "mean" something to someone.
