Rock has a ton fans that wouldn't mind seeing him with one last run with the belt. It would be good for the company and his fans. Fans would benefit from seeing him with the belt for one last time and the company would benefit because The Rock is good for ratings.

Of course it would be temporary, but I'm not seeing how that makes it a more appealing prospect.

For me I voted good. Why cause it opens up a lot more story lines then Punk keeping it. Punk will be very good in the drive to get the title back when it is decided he gets it back. And Punk does not draw. Yep I said it he does not draw. Who did he the Champ have a match against on Raw's big night did he main event? No. Did he fight a top contender like Randy Orton or Dolph Ziggler? Nope. Dang who did he go up against? Clay. That right there shows the drawing power of Punk if he has a match against Brodus Clay in the middle of the biggest show on Raw it shows he cannot draw. A true draw as champ would of had the main event on 20th anniversary show. Punk is a good wrestler and a good champ but he cannot draw and VKM knows it.
If Rock wins the ratings will go up for raw after the rumble. If not they will remain low.Last edited by longtimefan; 01-15-2013 at 04:57 PM.

It will be a good temporary business move. Give the product a lot of ratings and storyline development for EC and WM. Bad news....the roster kinda takes a hit.

01-15-2013, 06:41 PM #27Great for the short term. However, it does not do anything for the long term unless he has some feuds with guys other than Cena and Punk. Could do wonders for those on the edge/ready to break through to the main event.

To be honest the third hour ratings for Raw don't seem to suggest Rock can outdraw anyone.
I'm just waiting for the drive by IWC to go mental when Rock v Cena is announced for WM and Cena wins the title.
Oh and by the way, 'Once in a lifetime,' was just a marketing tag.... so yeah!

Would be great for business, to have a legit Hollywood star as champ would bring in the media coverage they claim. May as well be a hollywood star who is also a star in the wrestling business, this would be a win situation for the company in my opinion.
The only part that would suck about it, is the timing. I really like CM Punks long title reign, and want to see it go on, on the flipside, I would like to see The Rock as champ. Either way, it's pretty much a win/win for me.I'm the Miz...and I'm.........................moderate
