My uncle used to legit dig for fossils at Calvert Cliffs, and every so often he would tag and bag some for me and toss them my way for my collection. One year, however, he put a couple of peach pits in a sandwich bag and tricked my 7 year old self into believing they were actually dinosaur brains. I held on to those fucking things for over 2 years.

Always thought that a "Screw driver" was pronounced "School Driver" and thought that they could start cars for the simple scenario that I missed the bus. Hated those things.

My sister had me convinced for over a year that my favourite thing in the world, at the time, peanut butter was made with glue. It was all I could taste after that. Of course it didn't help that our mum bought the cheap and nasty stuff. To this day, I will only eat Kraft brand peanut butter.
