Wrestlemania 29 Ticket Prices

I was just on ticketmaster, and Wrestlemania tickets have become down right obsurd. I went to Wrestlemania 24 (2008) in Orlando the "Platinum" seats were 850 USD a piece. I thought that was high, but worth it for Wrestlemania. For Wrestlemania 29 just 5 years later "Platinum" seats are 8000 USD a pop, and here is the real kicker you have to buy two. Id like to know how many die-hard wrestling fans are going to spend right under 16,000 dollars for a wrestling show.

WTF? If Jerry World lands WM30, I've planned on taking my son. Lord knows for WM30, the price would be even more jacked up. But going to WM for the price of a car does not make any sense at all.

It's absurd and I'm pretty pissed since I was planning on going to see it, since the venue isn't too far away from MD. But even the Silver ticket packages are $1,000+.

When that day comes and Wrestlemania is a PPV of solely empty arena matches I will laugh at their greed.

Being near a major city such as New York doesn't help matters. Last year I went and bought a silver package was $863. I'm not one bit surprised to see that cost of the silver package to be over $1,000.

Unfortunately, that's business. They keep on pushing the envelope to see how high costumers are willing to pay, just ask eBay sellers.

Also, they might be pissed off at the amount of internet streams available. It spells ka-ching either way.
