I thought it was a pretty decent match.
I wouldn't count the barrier suplex as a botch. He just needed 2 attempts to lift Rock up to drape him over the barrier. Understandable given that it must be tough for a guy of Punk's size to lift a guy of The Rocks size, get him over the barrier and then drop him.
Neither guy can be blamed for the announce table. That was just a freak accident.
I also think that the Rock was simply selling when he was "struggling to keep his feet up" as you say.

I think the match was decent. I wasn't expecting a classic, since that's the first time The Rock's wrestled since last years Wrestlemania. I also happen to think that the Cena vs Rock match from last year was better.

However, I don't think that this is the last of the Punk vs Rock feud. The match ended in controversial circumstances last night and I expect something on tonight's Raw to address that. I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch at the Elimination Chamber.

Yeah my gut is telling me something will get fishy with the restart of the match and don't be surprised if Rock gets stripped of the belt from some sort of kayfabe lawsuit or something and the title goes back to punk or is held up as vacant.

BUT!!! I've been so, so, so wrong with my gut feeling predictions lately....LMAO...Terrible.

I respect your argument, agree to some extent. I do know its all fixed before hand, just think the ending was horrible. No argument with Rock v Cena being a huge draw at WM29.

More pissed it was the Rock. Why not crown a NEW Champion like Ziggler, Wade Barret, Ryback...something truly shocking? Or at least a top performer thats there week in week out like Daniel Bryan, Kane, Sheamus.

I know the Rock draws more, but it just doesn't sit well with me a part timer beating him for it, no matter how much he draws

The WWE is a business. Vince McMahon is a business man, running his business (the WWE) in a way where he makes the most money possible. Having the Rock as WWE Champion during Wrestlemania season is going to make him more money that having Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Ryback as Champion at this time. Whether it sits well or not with a small minority of fans or not isn't really a concern of his.
