So yeah giving the Rock the title and have him face the biggest draw in WWE at their biggest show for the title is ridiculous.

    Screw you Vince.

Or from a wrestling stand point, two of the greatest ever, at the biggest PPV for the WWE title.

Whether it sits well or not with a small minority of fans or not isn't really a concern of his.
Agree..... Actually Rock will give the WWE the media attention.... Rock has several big movies coming out this year....
We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
Wrestling, women and money who could ask for more???

I agree. But it's not like WWE haven't pushed people with nothing in their locker to the top before.

My reasoning is just this - when the huge push as the unstoppable monster is over, how effective is he going to be? What then? Can you really see Rybore tagging with someone like Daniel Bryan? Or "dominating" the U.S. title scene? I may be wrong but I reckon as soon as the T Shirt sales start to dwindle, WWE will find excuses not to use him.

My thoughts on the Royal Rumble:

ADR vs. Big Show: Cena vs. Batista 2
It's Jericho! genuinely marking out at the time.
It's Goooldust! mark out moment 2.
There was a moment when Barrett, Bryan, Cesaro, Sheamus, Jericho and Ziggler were all in the ring with Cena and Dallas and I thought "there's only two of these men I don't want to see win"...
Kane was screwed out of the most eliminations record again!
Ryder's SIIIICK Rough Rider to Ziggler.
Ziggler deserved to make it to the final 4, I was disappointed when he didn't.
Boooo. Cena won. Instantly know the result of The Rock vs. CM Punk.
Third best moment of the night: CM Punk putting the Spanish announce table back together
Had the table not broken surely The Rock would have been disqualified? There was no stipulation in their match and a Rock Bottom through a table has to be a DQ.
Lights out. OHMAHGAWD it's The Undertaker! Oh hang on, it's just The Shield.
    Boooo. Dwayne wins.

Special mentions to The Miz for looking decidedly awful in the preshow match but props for working the rumble match injured. Also to Rhodes and Goldust, Barrett and Dallas for their interesting spots in the match.

I was raging when the PPV ended but after calming down, Cena had a really bad year last year so a Rumble win isn't as terrible as it feels. Even if there are a lot of guys who could do with the rub. CM Punk not being champ opens up a possible match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, could be a doozy. Cena vs. The Rock 2 may not be the shoe-in some of us (myself included) first thought and while I'm pissed off that Dwayne gets to devalue the WWE Championship I'll still be watching to see what happens next...maybe not live though so I can fast forward the inevitable BS promos the golden boys will be making on Raw.

A real champion with a real title belt.
"I swear to never again mention the man who is currently WWE champion until I am happy that change has come. I promise to buy PPVs when I can afford to, especially if 'he' isn't in the main event. I promise to show my support the the elements of WWE that I enjoy and together we will #ChangeWWE."

Does anyone think we'll see Hell No drop the titles this week? And if so, to who? Car Sterio? I like Sandow and Rhodes but I really want Cody to feud with Goldust. Can't have the cake and eat it too I suppose.....hang on - why not?

I can see them two feuding after costing each other a spot in the rumble. Shame, I've enjoyed their run, but all good things must come to an end...as last nights main event showed us

I still want Hurricane to return and challenge Bryan in a "Kane's best partner" rivalry. Those two could have some good matches

Time will tell I suppose. With all the talk that Vince is on the hunt for his next top guy, for all we know, Ryback is his chosen man. I hope not though.

I can see them dropping to Rhodes Scholars this week. I was actually surprised that Rhodes and Sandow didn't win last night.
As far as I can see, the team of Mysterio anc Cara is over.
