Money in the Bank Briefcase

I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed that The Miz is still carrying around the Money in the Bank briefcase (while Riley actually). Usually the briefcase disappears after the contract has been cashed in for the title match, but the briefcase has still made appearances on the last two episodes of Raw. Do you think there is any relevance to this or if they are just showing people who have missed some action that Miz won through the MITB contract. I think it could become part of the storyline, where eventually Riley turns on the Miz and cashes in to become champion though that would be a shocker. Any comments are welcome.

Except the shillelagh was a part of Finlay's gimmick, the briefcase isn't.

If this could be reasoning., be nice if they'd at least explain so.
