Even if they do go with ADR vs Orton, Zigs cashing in can be used as a catalyst to turn Orton heel. I think there is plenty of opportunity to turn Ziggler face later on, there's no rush on that, even if it is playing out that people are getting sick of AJ already, there's still some gas in that tank.

WWE's booking definitely doesn't help(Though they do have flashes of brilliance. Orton, Jericho, and Cena), but the way Ziggler sells, for a heel, I can't see him as World Champion.

If they turned him face, and he sold like that, then it would be fine. Typical beatdown and come back. Perfect for a face.

It's a unique situation he's got himself in. He's ultimately held down for what he's arguably best at. He's amazing at making others look amazing. Tragically ironic for him. I'd love it if he announced after EC that he's cashing in for a WHC match at Mania, but that's a very baby-face move. But I think the Mania crowd will be behind him no matter what, so it might be smart to time his face turn accordingly.

Nope. Edge waited a long time the first time money in bank happened. It's good that they arena vent just rushed it with Ziggler.

Edge was the first Mr. MITB, so it was more of a test run than anything. Plus, 2005 was a year completely dominated by Cena and Batista, so they could afford to have him hold the briefcase for nearly a year. Everybody since Edge has cashed it in within 6 months of winning it.
Ziggler is not the same case. He's nowhere near as established and over as Edge back in the mid-2000s, or as properly booked.

Hogan, Savage, Vader, DDP, Batista, Ryback, CM Punk, Sheamus, Flair, JBL, Steve Austin were all in their mid-30s before they were seen as main event tallent.
Most of them floated around the mid card for 10 years or wrestled in smaller indy promotions.
Ziggler's still young and he's got plenty of time on his side.
Let's not rush his push and ruin it.

This. I don't get how people don't understand how this shit works but yeah, Ziggler has all the time in the world and he's only going to get better... perfectly said my man. A better question would be have they waited too long with Orton, he was so damn good when he was younger but ever since all the big names left he's just been floating around in obscurity not really doing anything memorable in the last few years. He's still in his prime, his in-ring work is top 3 in the company (Danielson, Punk, Orton) and if they don't turn him heel and set him up with a good program soon, I fear we may be witnessing one of the biggest wastes of talent in WWE history. Look at Christian, he's past his prime now and I don't remember a single feud I really enjoyed with him (except maybe Orton). At least Randy has a body of work in singles competition from when he was younger that stands on its own.
