Punk vs Cena, Punk vs Rock

So last night I rewatched the epic Punk vs Cena MITB 2011 match.
In this match Punk kicks out of 2 Fu's/AA's (whatever you want to call it)

However Punk gets jobbed to the people's elbow.

This is why there's so much frustration over Rock beating Punk. It makes Rock look so much more overpowered than Cena, which says a lot

You honestly think that continuity of RESILIENCE, of all things, should be carried into future matches? C'mon, man. It's not that big of a deal when you think about it. As long as Punk didn't completely get thrashed and came out strong, why should it matter?

At least it wasn't to Rock's crappy definition of the Sharpshooter.

It would make things a lot more realistic.

How so? Is there a gauge that indicates how much kayfabe pain a wrestler goes through with each finisher?

    Realistic? In wrestling?

I think Cena vs Rock vs Punk might happen if Punk wins the belt at EC, and Rock uses his rematch clause at WM.

Kayfabe: Punk faced Cena in peak condition with a baying home crowd cheering him on. Then he faced The Rock having had knee surgery and returning to a full time schedule 3 weeks later that is why he fell to the people's elbow. It's the same reason footballers miss penalties, quarterbacks thrown interceptions and golfers miss a putt. Even the pros get tired or have an off day.

Reality: They planned the finish with the people's elbow because "While a lot of fans criticized the decision to have Rock pin Punk after hitting The People's Elbow, the idea behind it is that Punk "doesn't care about the people," so he was ironically beaten with that finisher." - The Wrestling Observer and pretty much every dirt sheet too.

"I swear to never again mention the man who is currently WWE champion until I am happy that change has come. I promise to buy PPVs when I can afford to, especially if 'he' isn't in the main event. I promise to show my support the the elements of WWE that I enjoy and together we will #ChangeWWE."
