A good way to elevate certain jobbers

I think that guys like Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase, Drew McIntyre, and other "jobbers" could really do well with a cult like following group. I know the cult thing has been done to death, but I think with this twist it could do better. Get a manager who comes out during matches at first interrupting the match and asking the guys do they want better with their careers? He could play on their insecurities about their careers not going where they thought. I think if done right it could really work, but they would need a really good talker for this group. Someone who really could make you believe that he was a legitimate cult leader. What do you guys think?

Not everyone's meant to be a main eventer or even relevant. That's just the way the business is.

Kofi Kingston shouldn't be classified in the jobber category. The man is a multiple time IC Champ, US Champ and Tag Team Champ as well.

But anyways getting to the subject of the matter, just like the above poster stated not everyone is built to be a main eventer. Kofi has been closer to borderline many times. Once it looked like Drew was headed that way to then he went into the "doghouse" and has never come out since. Dibiase just seems to not have the passion for the business like his father had.

The business is at it's best when you have a big main event scene and a lot of people challenging for the title. The Attitude Era had the Rock, Stone Cold, HHH, Mankind, Big Show, HHH, Kane, the Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit. I think we could use a little more diversity in the main event.

That's no problem at all but to start form the bottom of the barrel? With the jobbers?

And crowd reaction plays a huge role in how one gets pushed. Ryback's where he is because of the crowd reaction he gets. Sure, someone from behind the scenes was pushing it but without a crowd behind you, you're pretty much done for. The name of the game is sink or swim. Guys like Ryback swim. Guys who don't? Ask Tensai, he'll tell you.

The guys I picked weren't neccessarily jobbers and I wouldn't put them immediately in the main event, but I'd build them up for it.

Kofi Kingston isn't a jobber. Just because you're currently on a losing streak dosen't take away the fact you're a former 4x IC champ, 3x tag team champ, and 2x US champ.
