They bump everyone up a few inches because they are trying to give the impression that the wrestlers are larger than life.

Remember when Big Show was billed at 7'2'' and when he was thin they said he weighed 500lbs, and Kane was apparently 7'0?

Trust me fella Sheamus is 6ft3 he was exactly the same height as me and i am 6ft3!

On raw this week, im sure Michael Cole stated sheamus was 6'7

I remember being genuinely disappointed to learn that Andre The Giant was only around six ten or eleven. When Vinnie Mac used to interview him, he would always take his shoes off, or have Andre stand on a box or something.

Maybe some of these guys were measured with and without their shoes. I'm just at 6 foot... but when I put on my shoes I almost 6' 2" tall... It could be the case of just being measured with and without shoes.

I used to work at an arena, the Air Canada Center and was 'backstage' or just at work early being a wrestling fan and bumped into Rey Mysterio. He is 5'3 in real life I can confirm that.
