I suggest going to YouTube and looking up Jon Moxley, that was the name he used in the Indy scene. There's promo compilation videos that show his work on the mic prior to joining WWE's developmental system. Great stuff, you could see he had what it took to make it to the big time.

In October of 2011, I had a chance to see him put on a really, really good 20 minute match with CM Punk at an FCW/NXT house show. He's got the ring skills for sure, and proved it during that match. For anyone who doubts his ring skills, they should go check that match out.

I liken Ambrose to a modern day Roddy Piper. He's got that quirkiness Piper had/has and an unconventional in ring style. I never watched much of ROH, so I want to see more of Rollins. The guy that has impressed me the least is Reigns. I think it's his lame 1980s yell before he does the triple powerbomb. To me that says he has a long way to go in the charisma department.

Seth tops my billing of the shield, his ability in the ring stands out and I don't see him being bad on the mic either

Voted Dean Ambrose. But, it's a good sign for a group of three when that decision was literally tough. They all are awesome individual parts that make up an awesome whole. They've got a little something for everyone - a highflyer, a powerhouse, and a maniac. The Shield is The Shit.

Haha. Oh Brad Maddox. It really could be interesting if he is a member, and he was in cahoots with them during that 'behind the scenes beatdown' they gave him. He was on Raw the next week (shouldn't he have been out of commission, bandaged, or hurt?) and the video did cut short of showing him actually get beat down to bad. Hmm. Perhaps his new management role might show him using his powers to "shield us from injustice"?

I like Ambrose. As has been already said, he reminds me of Piper and has that crazy intense look all of the time. The guy can sell good too.

Reigns is OK but why does he have to do that stupid flex pose and growl every time he does a big move? He looks like HHH trying to take a dump when he does it. He needs some mic skills too instead of saying "believe in The Shield" all of the time.

Rollins reminds me too much of a tattoo-less CM Punk. I know that they once tag-teamed together but their looks and styles are too similar to make him stand out. Maybe if they give him more mic time I might see the difference but for now he's nothing new.

Together though these guys shine. They made Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback look like noobs at the Elimination Chamber. The quick tags and multiple double teaming and all around fast action helped make the match move and brought some excitement that I haven't seen in a tag match in a long time. These guys are best served by being together as a group right now and will hopefully help them later when they become singles competitors.
