Great feedback guys; all have been interesting points of view. TDA - I totally agree because I didn't see a whiplash of the head or anything; it looked like he just hit him directly on the snooze button and Mo was falling over before even Newton knew what happened.
So we can all agree that this will do nothing to affect King Mo and his career in the squared circle. I understand that MMA and pro wrestling are worlds apart from one another, but my thought was directed towards the amount of coverage it got. Had King Mo gotten to the point where he was not just the 'poster boy' for Bellator, but for TNA as well, would a knockout as fluky and spectacular as this have a negative effect on TNA or would there be no affect at all? Like I said, TNA wasn't involved with King Mo in any of the coverage (that I saw, not sure about Sports center or anything else) so I don't think it does anything to them, but if Mo came far enough along in TNA that he was a credible WHC, do we think this kind of negative press coverage would flow back into TNA since Mo was holding a belt at the time? *Granted it's hasn't been THAT negative of coverage, but the Bask fist has been featured on major news networks since Mo was predicted to dominate the fight*
