Saturday's historic UFC 157 event scored an announced attendance of 15,525 and a live gate of $1.4 million. Of the UFC's six Honda Center events to date, UFC 157 did the largest attendance, drawing more than UFC 121 in October 2010. But the live gate was just the fifth best of the six shows thus far in Anaheim. There are 100 more signees than the promotion can support, and an unimpressive loss is now a virtual guarantee that one is soon to be released. UFC President Dana White recently said fighters can keep the ax at bay by delivering exciting performances, as it was some fighters did throw caution to the wind and others did deliver boring fights. Also four fighters received $50,000 in bonus money for their efforts @ Saturday's UFC 157 Event. (See below for details in Bonus Question Answers).
