New WWE factions

There's your answer right there. If he could, we'd see him on TV or would have seen more than the 3 matches he was granted on tv, what 2 years ago?

Mostly irrelevant. They may have done fine with The Shield--SO FAR--but WWE Creative has continually failed with factions (Nexus, Corre being two recent ones) of younger wrestlers or maybe produced one star out of the group while at the same time turning the other potential players into chumps (Gabriel, DiBiase, the rest of Spirit Squad except Dolph, etc.) who very well may have fared better having not been in the group.

Factions = overrated.

I keep reading where the Nexus was a joke or a failed faction and I just don't see it. They dominated the scene on both Raw and Smackdown for six months. I hardly call that a failure. Granted it ended poorly, but at one time it was the buzz in the wrestling world. I like factions. While it is true that some do not work, some do. And, when they do, they are very entertaining.

The next faction needs to be a throwback version of something that worked when some of these guys were still in high school. How about a new faction that resembles the old Nation of Domination? I really need to see Kofi in a new role.

They were booked to dominate, but I was thinking more in terms of making long-term stars. Barrett got over--which I believe he would have done sans Nexus, anyway--but Justin Gabriel is certainly an afterthought anymore, Slater is a comedy glorified enhancement talent, the Prime Time Players are anything but, Sheffield certainly was a bust until they "erased" his past (Newcomer Of The Year!)...well, you get the picture.

Nothing personal, but I don't think I'd consider Nexus the buzz for an extended period of time. Talk of the town for a while, sure, but then again, the same can be said of Aces And Eights, meaning many fresh groups get fans pumped for a while, primarily because people are begging for something new and exciting. Then booking manages to blow it yet again, and everyone is let down...again.

A good faction always seems too add more entertainment in wrestling, WWE hasnt had a good long standing faction sence Evolution. I like 'The Takeover' idea but i think thats pretty much how The Shield stands at this point. However, i would like to see The Shield expand with some legends as well with some new comers, it would probaly be the best thing WWE can do at this point in time considering the majority of their storylines suck nowadays. The Main Event Mafia was probaly one of the best in westling in the past 10 years.
