Upon finally been able to watch the match i think Lei'd Tapa is still a bit green like really green so a pass on her for me. Ivelisse is a no brainer sign her already.

Yeah, like someone had stated before- Tapa can be sent to developmental for a year or so- until she improves in the ring and can cut a promo. Like I said- she has the look and some skills- but Ive is miles ahead of her. TNA would be smart to snap her up since they let Sarita go- amongst others

it's going to be Ivelisse Velez and it would be stupid if she wasnt on TNA. I did like the Submission move.

Ivelisse was very impressive. This is the first time in years that a Womens wrestling match has stayed on my mind. I loved the kicks, hurricarana, and those wickedly cool submissive moves that she displayed on Lei-d. I think Ivelisse has a chance on the roster since she has shown her overall experience. I even like the fact that she was trained by Trish Stratus.

Loved what I saw from Ivelise on TE, loved what I saw in FCW. WWE made a stupid error in cutting her (even if it was because of her apparent bad backstage attitude) while keeping Miss Melina vs Alicia Fox and the like.
If she ends up getting signed, then good luck to her.

In all honesty though, with how depleted the KO's division currently is, I expect at least one of them if not both to be signed.

So after digging into Lei'd Tapa, I could only find limited info on the chick (2011 in PWX against Amber O’Neil, in 2012 against Darcy Dixion for BPW). I seriously cannot find more than 3-4 matches for the chick, so this might help explain why she is so green. She does have a facebook page, so that might help give a better idea for how long she has been doing this, but I can only confirm that she has been wrestling since 2011 with the Gut Check having been her first 'major' match featured.


With that said I could see TNA giving Ive a contract and asking Tapa to a developmental contract for a year. This was the first women’s match I have watched in ages and I will say that I Ive looked pretty impressive with the MMA style she brought, but the huricanrana is what gave her my vote; impressive to see her jump that high. Tapa has a great look and I loved the ring attire she wore to the ring. Yes, she is green but I don't think she was any worse off in her first performance than Hendrix (and Hendrix was in the ring with a veteran). If I was to make a decision on just one, I'd go Velez in a heartbeat but I don't think TNA should cast Tapa aside without a thought. The girl has the look to be a dominant Knockout, but TNA would have to invest quite a bit of time with the girl before she'd be ready to be featured again on TNA Impact.

This match was better than some main roster diva matches. I would have to say I am very impressed with Impacts Choices of ACTUAL Women Wrestlers. Lei'D Tapa although not well known was amazing. Her stature and appearance alone I would sign her to be on impact. She looks like she can create some good matches as a big brute heel much like Awesome Kong and Rhaka Kahn were. Ivelisse was good and her moveset is pretty experienced she has the look if she can just kind of tone down that fire in her a bit. But I like Lei'D tapa so Its best Impact looks into giving them both contracts cause they are lacking in new Knockouts and there is only so long that we can see the veterans facing each other overand over. Give Tapa and Taeler Hendrix some bookings. Im sure Tara can use a break.

It's a given that Ivelise is getting a contract, but for the love of God, the Knockouts roster is floundering a bit. I want to see both of these ladies get a contract. ODB is the only other big hitter left in the roster and she's a shadow of what she used to be. I think Lei'd Tapa sets up a nice set of feuds and a dominating, terrifying Knockouts Title reign if she ever gets it.

Ivelisse Velez should get the contract but Tapa brings something different to the table that could be great for the division. She did some really good things to get heat from the crowd too and worked a good pace although she needs to work on talking and not getting too antsy in the ring with her feet. For only being in the game for 2 years though, pretty dang good.
