TNA Gutcheck - Ivelisse Velez vs. Lei'd Tapa

I for one, am happy for Lei'd Tapa. It would have been a shame to cut either one of these Knockouts but personally, I'm happy they stuck with Tapa. She definitely stands out from the rest of the herd and I can't wait to see how she'll fare with the other ladies.

XD I think the crowd should have a say in it. Look how they are voicing their opinion! Boo her fans, BOO HER! IVE FOR TNA!

The crowd wanted Ive last week and now they are showing it again. Again if judging talent is just based on those three they need to replace them ASAP. They have passed up on Joey Ryan, Evan Markopolous who for an 18 year old was pretty good and could have been molded to be a TNA guy, and Kris Lewie. However they decide to sign guys like Alex Silva, Sam Shaw, and Taeler Hendrix. In my opinion none of which will be big for TNA. Maybe Silva and Shaw can be successful in the tag team division, but I don't see them being that big for anything other than that.

But looking at how green she was TNA should've sent her packing and signed Ive. Then maybe a year or two later bring her back for another audition.

This is true. Though if it was against anyone other than Ive, I'd be rooting for her with open arms. She can bring something to the table ala Kong. Someone who isn't the typical cut but can bring the house down.

Me too. Hopefully they still bring Ive in some way- like they brought in Joey Ryan. Ive shined in the farce that was TE in its last season and if not hurt, I believe she would have made it to the final 3 at least. How TNA could pass on her too- God only knows. Lei-D- just way too green as you say TDA. With more training she indeed could be a new Kong- but she is nowhere near than point. Plus she kind of sucks on the mic- they should keep her as a silent monster

I wouldn't be surprise they sign Ivelisse as well at least get her sign to OVW for a developmental deal..... As for Tapa I just called she didn't show what she really had last week, but it her being 2nd generation wrestler, then the Samoan heritage she has to play a part...

well i will say one thing- if anybody could make Tapa better in the ring its TNA- look at Brooke Tessmacher, hell look at all the ladies who were not named Gail Kim, Dafney, Cheerleader Melissa, Mickie James, Victoria, Kong, and Sarita. TNA gave ladies like Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, Rosita, Taylor Wylde, Chrissie Hemme and many others a spot to grow and put on some damn good matches. If only WWE did that today. First WWE dropped the ball and let Ivelisse go then TNA has dropped the ball. Hopefully she does in fact get signed down the road. I found it interesting that Tazz when doing commentary brought up a few times about her getting cut. Maybe she'll show up in Aces and Eights as their female knockout. One thing Aces and Eights is missing is a female.

yeah i heard Tazz say something but thought nothing of it- but that is a great idea- i hope they do it- she def would fit in with a hot biker chick look. Still surprises me that Tapa got in even with, i believe, Danny Davis saying how green she was.
