I also don't get how Cena can keep making out he's the Underdog. It annoys me so much.. Underdogs are Santino and people like that. Punk does not need anyone cheering for him or supporting him like he's an underdog. Punk has showed he has enough talent, passion and drive to succeed on his own doing.. Also, No underdog has a title reign like him and calls himself the "Best In The World".

I think Punk needs a gimmick change. If he came out with a gay gimmick, we'd soon see how many true CM Punk fans there were.

Speaking from a personal point of view, it would depend on if he pulls it off or not. You should be a fan of how a guy/gal portrays a gimmick, not blindly follow someone.

I wasn't a fan of Rocky Mavia, or Stunning Steve Austin. But once we got The Rock and Stone Cold, my opinion changed. Why? Because they were better characters that appealed to my personal taste.

I agree with you, I just don't understand why some of his fans tend to make him out as an underdog. The same people who were crying that he wasn't closing the show with daniel bryan even though he was champion. We all know the belt is important.

I guess I should have been more specific... it always seems like members of the IWC seem to think that WWE holds Punk down even though they push him towards the moon. How can he be held down, if they give him such a reign?

Because in their minds, being held down = he hasn't replaced John Cena.

CM Punk marks will never be satisifed until their golden boy is made the company's #1 guy, as in the top draw. But Punk has never been the #1 guy, and he never will be. In no category whatsoever is he even capable of being "that guy".

#2 is as big as he'll ever get, and like Randy Orton and Batista before him, that time has now come and gone.

This might have been the popular opinion back around the time frame between wrestlemania and summerslam, but i think only the most die hard cm punk marks would still be saying that he is being oppressed

I am actually glad I started this thread though. I have more faith in my fellow IWC members and their ability to see threw that silliness... Though I'm shocked that there hasn't been someone who said that punk is held down yet, that seems to be a common theme.
