Hell No + Tag Titles = Wasted Opportunites

It is definitely time to switch the belts now i was one of those people who taught they would be good for the division but they have held back other teams from achieving success in the division.

Maybe in your own mind, but Hell No wouldn't have lasted more than a couple weeks without the belts. The belts are the glue that keep them together. Without the belts they don't exist. For me they've been the most entertaining thing the E has done for months, and because of that I'm fine that they've essentially buried every other tag team during their run.

That said, now that it's nearing the time for them to drop the belts it would be nice to see them feud with an actual team that beats them because they are an actual team and work together. Most likely they'll drop the belts to whoever and weeks will pass before we see the tag belts on television at any given time again. At least they've been on TV consistently during Hell No's run.

When Shelby was there he served as the glue that held them together, and the fact that the anger management was "mandated" by the GM. The thing is that mandate didn't last for their entire run. They were free to break up any time they wanted. Nobody was holding a gun to their heads making them stay together. The belts were a way to bring them together and have them try to grow when the two characters hate each other. Without the belts the story couldn't advance. Giving them the belts had zero to do with improving the tag division. It had everything to do with it being necessary to advance the plot of team Hell No without breaking them up.

So, it would have been out of the question for the GM to simply order them to continue to tag together, belts or no belts? Hang on, it's wrestling, there's never any nonsensical and unnecessary story arcs being played out on the flimsiest of premises. Once the wheels were set in motion, the angle had it's own momentum carrying it forward. But maybe not for those with minute attention spans, I understand.

I love how you have to resort to insults when all I'm pointing out to you is the logic that went into the decision to give them the belts. I never said that the order forcing them to continue to tag together didn't have to remain. Just pointing out that it simply didn't.

Insults? I don't see any insults. What's insulting about having a short attention span? It's just an affliction. If you find that somewhat applicable and damaging at the same time, I'd say that's about you, not me. I didn't call you that and if I had, as I said, I fail to see why that might be an insult.

I'm just glad that there has been an actual storyline involving the Tag belts for the first time in ages. And in my eyes Team Hell No has brought some relevance back to the titles - I just hope it carries over to the next champions. Unfortunately they will probably lose the belts because of DB and Kanes squabbles.
It would be better if the next champs (whoever they will be) will win the belts cleanly, and Kane and DB can feud between themselves after.
I do agree that they have had their run with the titles now, and that Rhodes Scholars should have won them when they feuded.
