    Awesome Smackdown for 1/7/10

On this week's Smackdown we are going to see Edge vs. Kane and Del Rio vs. Mysterio in a 2 out of 3 falls match! Feels like a must watch! Thoughts?

I think the Last Man Standing will be kinda slow but Del Rio vs Rey would be something to see!

I have a hard time finding myself getting excited for anything that involves Edge and/or Kane. Mysterio vs Del Rio should be tits, though.

I'm looking forward to it! I usually get pissed off at WWE for repeating the exact same matches..like 2 weeks ago in the main event it was Edge/Mysterio vs Kane/ADR..and last week, the same match, but not the main event. Its a good change IMO. The gimmicks in the matches should make for longer matches, so I'm happy.

I expect a great match from Del Rio and Rey.

I just don't hope to see an oversell of the Armbreaker like what R-Truth did.

Not a bad way to kick off the new year for Ziggler huh?

the fatal four way match stole the show in my opinion, i loved every second of it, glad to see zigzag dropping the belt and getting a push but i think its a bit too soon, he was a gr8 intercontinental champion, anyway , gr8 match, great show, best in ages

I thought the fatal four way was the worst match of the night, myself. The Big Show basically squashed three up-and-comers for ten straight minutes, and then kicked out of all their finishers in succession after a run in by a fourth newbie. Then he completely no-sold all that offense like a minute later. This invincible giant shit was old back in 2000, let alone 2011.

    tl;dr: LOL BUILDING NEW STARS.

Apart from The Big Slow, it was a great Smackdown.

I think WWE is definatley getting better and better. if this last week says anything its that wwe CAN put on good shows. its just a rare occasion that everyone gets booked properly. last week when i heard it was kane vs edge + Rey vs Del rio i thought, 'AGAIN?! REALLY?!' but this smackdown was awesome. looking forward to raw more than i have for a long time now. glad to see some real quality shows coming out of the E. Reminds me of the good ol' days.
