Punk/Taker story

Actually the whole Paul Bearer mocking story and all takes away a lot from the match for me. Why? Because it takes away the slightest hint of doubt that Taker will win the match at WM. There is simply no chance Vince will let the villain get away with what he did there. This match probably will end up more as a severe punishment for Punk, and by no means a real competitive match.
Also i see some stupid stipulation coming up along the likes of casket match or boring alive...err....buried alive.

And what if Paul Bearer would rise from hell during the match at Wrestlemania... Now, that would be crossing the line; or no, wait.. That would be EPIC :-)

These are my thoughts on the Punk/Taker storyline:

Yea, he has taken the urn captive and Taker is making his threats and everything, but Punk should start working some matches on Raw with the urn in his corner. He should be in a trance when he has it. Sorta like it is helping him win and giving him power. Id even love to see him get knocked down in the middle of the ring and then do Undertaker's sudden sit-up.

Also, he should be winning these matches cleanly and handily. At least make him look strong going into the match. The guy hasnt won clean in what seems like half a year. Make people believe that he has the upper hand going into mania.

Im actually all for Punk going over Taker at mania CLEAN. They can even write Paul Bearer's death into the ending. Have a message from him to undertaker to play after the match. Paul can tell him its okay and its time for him to rest, tell him he loves him, etc. Taker can shed tears and walk off into the sunset because let's face it, the guy has to hang it up soon. Im sure he knows it, but its tough to say goodbye.

Or he can lose and we can have another year of taker showing up a few weeks before the big show to pick an opponent or get challenged.

Id also like to hear some thoughts on where this storyline would be if William Moody had not passed away.

This is 2013 not 1993!

The 'Urn' is symbolic of Paul Bearer's affiliation with the Undertaker but as we have know since 1996, the Undertaker is all powerful without the urn. The 'mystical powers' that the urn gave the Undertaker helped develop his character in the early stages of his WWE career but now he is simply the Phenom due to his service and great matches/moments in WWE.

As for Taker losing clean - never, ever going to happen at Wrestlemania. I agree CM Punk needs to look strong going into Mania so we can believe he may end the streak, but WWE have put too much into the history of 'the streak' to allow him to lose!

Well I remember taker saying a few years ago that when the streak dies, he dies. To me, this means that he cant retire undefeated. Someone has to end him.

Been thinkin bout Punk/Taker storyline, so far they used Paul Bearers death (RIP) as the main part of the storyline, if he hadn't passed away what does everyone think wouldve been the main part of the storyline???

Probably just the generic, I'm going to be the guy to end the streak... blah blah blah, best in the world, blah blah blah, immortalized, blah blah blah, 400+ days as champion, blah blah blah, Taker has never faced someone as good as me... etc.
