WWE (a shadow of its former self)

As many of you know by now the WWE has decided to focus their programming even further on children, which to us long time fans of the company feels like a slap in the face. The quality of the shows has been getting worse for years (fart jokes, lots of dancing, etc) and this move seems like the nail on the kid friendly coffin. I for one stopped watching the product last year and this move makes me feel like I made the right move. Does anyone feel more willing to give TNA a chance now, will you stay loyal to WWE anyway or are you done with wrestling?

i shall continue to watch both. TNA at the moment is holding my interest more, but there are slight storyline issues there. WWE has the star power and if you take the crap as it is intended to be and not try to be serious with it, its ok, but my paitence with WWE is getting very very thin.

I think the misconception that WWE 'owes' us anything as 'loyal'(or not so loyal) fans has gone way too far. It's a business and a episodic television show and our tastes AND their direction is bound to change - just like any show can. If you don't like it, just move on. I could throw out unnecessary stuff about true fans or real fans and whatnot but it's more just a matter of tastes and trends changing. It's not personal and you shouldn't take it as such.

Who gives a shit If they want to be kid friendly. Me personally It doesn't bother me. It may be chessy at times but the WWE still has there moments with good to great matches. It can't be edgy all the time. TNA has been TV14 for a While now If not there whole existance and It hasn't really helped them any. I'm not trying to bash TNA in any way but thats the truth. But honestly I hope they can rise because competition may help the WWE get back to who they once were(Not talkin blood and chair shots to the head....Or live sex celebrations lol). I'm a WWE guy but I do root for TNA. Only time will tell If this move will kill "Da E" and make TNA #1. But i wouldn't hold my breath.(Again I am not BASHING TNA!!)

Agreed TNA need to fix the storylines majorly the product is fine other than that.

No matter the answers you get here, most people are still going to watch WWE.

WWE is going to continue doing what it does. Last year alone they netted about half a billion, so obviously, they aren't doing that bad. Their focus on kids may just end up being more shows for them, instead of changing RAW or SD.

How can you not watch WWE for a year and still pass opinion on how it is now?! WWE programming may be PG but there have been plenty of edgy segments and jokes/references for adults in recent months. That said TNA is miles ahead in terms of booking and storylines at the moment so if you want to see more swearing and references to shagging Brooke Hogan then TNA is the one for you. Personally I watch and enjoy both WWE and TNA for the different things they bring to the table.

I said I stopped watching last year not that it's been a year since I stopped watching.
