In the UK WWE is shown on Sky 3 which is a channel you have to pay extra for. In my house, I only have the Freeview package which only has the free channels, so I don't watch any WWE programming when they're actually on tv. I catch up on all the action as it gets uploaded onto youtube, or I just stream it if I happen to be up late enough. If I had Sky 3, I would still rad the spoilers and watch Smackdown though.
The reason I read the spoilers is because it's taped. If WWE were treating Smackdown on the same level as RAW, they would make more of an effort to secure a live timeslot for it. Smackdown on friday usually pulls in a 1.6/1.7 rating. The live one on Tuesday that they did a few weeks ago drew a dramatically better 2.4 I think (might have been bigger can't remember). This proves that Smackdown is a decent show, and can draw an audience if it were live.
WWE have their own network in the works, ready in a few years apparently. Maybe when that's up and running, all their shows will be live. But until then, I want WWE to push to get Smackdown in a live timeslot, be that on Tuesday or Friday.
