I had a lot of fun with the first Iron Man, weak villain and all. The second movie is sort of all over the map, but even that one I enjoy to a certain degree. Action isn't a strong-suit of either film, though. You're either in the series for the Tony Stark Show or you're not.

I thought they were both fantastic! They both have a place in my (small) Blue Ray collection.

I just watched the Kings Speech with my wife, and I have to say that it was one of the most brilliantly acted films I've seen in ages. Colin Firth played the stammering George XI to perfection, and Geoffrey Rush's performance was a thing of beauty!
Helen Bonham Carter deserves a mention for her role as Queen Elizabeth as well.

Also, Due Date is alright if you don't mind Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis. I got quite a few chuckles out of that one!
    Kashdinero..... No gimmicks needed!

The Kings Speech was a great movie, but I am torn between it and Black Swan for best picture.

I've also got Black Swan and I should be watching it tomorrow! It'll have to be pretty damn good to beat The Kings Speech though!

If the idea of a person loosing their sanity for the perfection of their trade is a compelling concept to you this movie will really win you over.

I really want to see The King's Speech. It's kind of come out nowhere over the last couple of weeks to take over The Social Network as the front-runner for this year's Best Picture Oscar.

Isn't it supposed to be a companion of sorts to The Wrestler? Like, the one had Randy "The Ram" sacrificing his body for his trade, and the other has Nina sacrificing her mind?

Without giving too much away I think there were many parallels between the two films. Both characters ended up making sacrifices for what they loved. Black Swan was different enough where it does not feel like the exact same movie though.

For those who do not know both movies had the same director. I really loved The Wrestler, but I would have to say Black Swan was better. Much darker than The Wrestler if you can imagine that.

The Shawshank Redemption, Tim Robbins is a vastly underrated actor.

    Fuck yes.

One of my all time favorite movies.
