No real highlights since my last post... I rewatched I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK,
which I previously loved, but this time I found it just overly quirky/kitschy. It's not infuriatingly try-hard with its weirdness (like, say, Juno) and it does make sense in context, (schizophrenia) but it seems to rely so heavily on the WTF factor that it's just not as impactful when you rewatch it knowing what's going on.
edit: the "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME" directorship of 127 Hours
further cemented my hatred of Danny Boyle. And James Franco was p. awful, I don't understand the praise for his performance at all.
