As for the watching things repeatedly, I can only do it with specific films. Shawshank, Green Mile, Resevoir Dogs, John Carpenters Vampires (back when vampire movies were about killing shit, not teenage drama), and The Great Raid are prolly the only ones on the list of movies that I could enjoy watching numerous times without getting burned out completely on them. Honestly, that's the reason why I can't stand Will Ferrel movies. Anchorman was hilarious the first time, but after watching it with my cousin for 3 days straight, I started losing my mind. I've watched it once since, but it lost the original humor I thought was funny in the first place. The same thing with most every Kevin Smith movie. Loved them the first couple of times, but after the 150th viewing, they lose the original appeal.
I might check out Good Will Hunting eventually, but I am not to the point of breaking down to watch it yet. I have a long list of movies to watch but I will definately bump it up the list.
And Rob - I have been told that about the book. My mom (former English teacher who reads ALOT) has said the same thing to me for years. It's actually the next book on my list after I finish reading 1984
