[Iron Ape]

The Departed is wildly overrated; it's essentially Scorsese on auto-pliot. People would be better off watching Infernal Affairs (the movie it's based on).

And Johnnie To has a bunch of other gangster movies that are worth checking out, too (like Election, Election 2, Exiled, and Vengeance).

I watched The Untouchables today. It was good but I'm not sure about Costner as Ness. He's just never really impressed me. I did enjoy Connery very much though.

Am I the only one who isn't that excited by the new Iron Man film?

I have a feeling it won't be as good most people are hyping it to be.

While I can't say you are the only one not excited for it, I can say I am pumped for it! That and the new Thor this November.

Iron Man 2 was complete rubbish. But Shane Black's involvement in 3 is in enough for me to remain cautiously optimistic.

Couldn't honestly give a shit about the new Thor or Captain America, though.

I just watched This is 40. It had its moments so I don't feel like I wasted my time.

Saw the new Oz.

The Good:
The casting for Theodora and Glenda. Only parts in the movie that made it interesting.
Costume, artwork and set designs. Really great stuff and made the movie visually appealing.

The Bad:
Franco and Kunis were miscast for the roles. Kunis especially, was supposed to come off as interesting but just looks boring the entire film. Franco either over or under acts and doesn't come close to what they were going for.
The Script- writing is atrocious at times and the movie feels like the writers did not know what to do next. Really predictable and boring, and the only thing that helps this movie is nostalgia and Williams and Weisz. Not looking forward to the already announced sequel

Yeah, I wouldn't go near that movie unless I had an eighth of mushrooms and nothing else to do. It's reeked of Burton's Alice In Wonderland right from the jump.
