Just watched Morgan Spurlock's 'The Greatest Movie Ever Sold'. Another fantastic film by Spurlock. This and 'Supersize Me' are both qorthy contenders for places in my top ten.

Shane Meadows' and Paddy Considine's 'Le Donk and Scor-zay-zee'. It's pretty much a long short-film, if you know what I mean, and there's not much to it in terms of structured gripping story, but, I didn't think it needed it as such, there's enough, for me anyway. I just love Paddy on film, and in this, his improvised Le Donk is a hilarious whirlwind of a character. I found many laughs in it, that maybe others might not, and I was satisfied with it. Still, I don't think you'd want to have paid cinema moneys to see it.

Whenever I watch Considine, he still creates this anxious fret in me, that his character is teetering on the edge of a psychotic switch of rage, I love it; although it's a little dampened in this film ofcourse.

    Ring 9/10

Ring 2 8/10 - Both excellent films a little bit dated but still creepy as hell. Dont know why they didnt just destroy the TV though as soon as they saw her coming

A Bronx Tale 8/10 - Watched this years and years ago when i was a kid and i forgot how good it was. If you like Goodfellas then watch this.

I was considering recording that film off C4 last week (or the week before) but I decided against it when I saw Shane Meadows was at the helm. That's because I've seen three-and-a-half of his films - his early films Small Time and 24/7, Once Upon a Time in the Midlands, and bits and pieces of This Is England - and I would literally describe every one of those as "decent but not really worth anybody's time".

Last film I saw was Tokyo Fist, which I would give 9.5/10. It's like a chaotic subversion of boxing movie conventions and clichés in typically weird Japanese fashion, by the director of the infamous Tetsuo The Iron Man

Yeah, I can see it not appealing to the average moviegoer, as most people's taste in film is largely shit.

Gladiator. No, not the majorly overrated Ridley Scott Russel Crowe joint. 1992's epic tale of underground boxing.

NO! I'M NOT FIGHTING FOR YOU NO MORE
