Naked (1993) - ★★★★★ - pretty much THE most important British movie of the past 25 years.

Tokyo Fist (1995) - ★★★★☆

Thirst (2009) - ★★★★ - Park Chan-Wook is seemingly incapable of making a shitty movie.

Last Days (2005) - ★★★☆ - Seems to be underrated mostly due to butthurt Nirvana fans taking the Kurt Cobain's suicide inspiration behind it too seriously and finding the whole thing disrespectful. Others probably just got bored due to the minimalist style and bleak themes Van Sant was utilising at the time. Nonetheless, I found it a pretty good meditation on depression.

This week i have watched

American Gangster 9/10 - Excellent film with fine performances for the two greatest actors of their generation. Really worth a watch.

So Close 6/10 - Comically bad martial arts film. If Zhao Wei wasnt in this i would of hated it but she is sooo sexy and some of the stunts are pretty awesome

The Game 6/10 - Michael Douglas is given a birthday present by his brother Sean Penn(who i thought was his son for abit) that changes his life. Ok but Fincher has alot better films in his catalogue.

Treasure Hunter 6/10 - Was billed as Indiana Jones meets The Mummy was more like Romancing the Stone meets the Mummy 3. This film literally has no plot to it. Some cool martial art stunts and Jay Chou is cool in it but thats about it.

Frontiers 5/10 - Really looked forward to this but it was a massive let down. French horror films have really stood out to me these last few years with Inside, Martyrs etc... but this was just a shock film. Some Neo-Nazi kill people thats about all that goes on.

Switchblade Romance 10/10 - Loved the shit out of this film. An amazing slasher horror film with a great plot. And dosent over do it in length being only an 1hr 20mins long. Really worth watching(if you like subs) and you should pick it up if you can. Should be able to get it at CEX for £1

Cool Hand Luke 6/10 - Very good performances from both Newman and Kennedy but plot wasnt up to much
