Blacula (1972) - A blaxploitation horror, like it says on the tin. formulaic and full of plot holes, but decent enough for what it is. 4/10

F For Fake (1973) - A documentary by Orson Welles about hoaxes and art forgery - and by extension, the nature of "expertise" and authenticity... but can we trust Welles himself? It's a masterpiece of film editing and it offers plenty food for thought, although I didn't find it entirely captivating. 6/10

Saw The Adjustment Bureau tonight. Alright movie but not what I was expecting. Thought there would be more "thriller" and less "love story".

I saw the movie Hall Pass. Very funny movie, dare I say funnier than the Hangover. Its pretty funny from start to finish, its worth checking out for sure.

I haven't rented or watched any movies in the past 8 months or so. I enjoy action, adventure. I also like movies like The Departed. I really enjoy war movies (based on reality) like Black Hawk Down, etc. Maybe because I'm a vet and I like to see if I can spot anything unrealistic. Point of this rant is can you guys name off some good flicks from the past year that are worth checking out? I want to get Inception but want to make sure it's really as good as people say! Please, no romance flicks!

i just watched resident evil afterlife
dont think it was as good as the last 3
but it is a pretty decent movie

Inception is a great movie but very hard to grasp your mind around. Basically its a dream, in a dream, inside another dream.

Not really.

I was expecting it to be confusing, but I understood it pretty fast. You can just lose track pretty fast of which dream is which and which is realty.

But then they do some crazy shit and you remember.
